The Hampton Bays Civic Association is canceling its October meeting due to scheduling conflicts on the part of the candidates. We will not be holding our Congressional debates but instead will be joining The Express News Group’s Zoom debate on October 26th.  We have submitted several questions in on behalf of the Civic Association.

The debate will begin at 7:00p.m. There will be a free link available at zeldin-goroff-debate.eventbrite.com.  The link will be available to only 100 people on a first come first serve basis.  A recording of the live event will be posted on 27east.com after the debate.

We would like to make sure all our members are aware of the Congressional debate that took place October 19th between Republican U.S. Representative Lee Zeldin and Democratic challenger Nancy Goroff. The debate was hosted by The League of Women Voters. If you missed the virtual debate, the recording will be available on Sea-TV’s YouTube page and website.  At a later time, it will also be televised on Sea-TV (Channel 22).

Please tune in to hear the candidate’s positions and VOTE.

Maria Hults, President

Hampton Bays Civic Association
