Duckie Day 2020
***PLEASE NOTE PAGES ARE NOT OPTIMIZED FOR MOBILE DEVICES***
Although we're disappointed that we are not able to have our annual Duckie Day Family Fun Day in person this year, we will still be having a number of our fundraising events virtually, including our much-loved Rubber Duckie Race and Decorated Duck contest!
Check back here daily as information will be updated frequently!
There's still time to buy a racing duck to enter the race by emailing us on our Contact page or by calling 631-728-2285. Ducks must be returned to us as soon as possible, so make the call now for your chance to win! Please consider this fun way to support us and best of luck on your entries!
Rubber Duckie Race!
While we will not be holding a live Family Fun Day, the annual Rubber Duckie Race will still take place on Saturday, September 12th at 2:30pm, launched as always from the dock at Cowfish Restaurant in Hampton Bays. The race will be both streamed live and recorded for viewing on our website. Winner of the race (the first duck to reach the shore) will receive a $200 prize; second and third place winners will get a ribbon for their duck.
Decorated Ducks must be returned to us by September 1st in order to be entered into the contest. We will photograph each duck and post the photos on our website for voting beginning on September 2nd. Voting will end at Midnight on September 11th with winners announced on September 12th. Click on the Decorated Ducks page for more information!
As always, we have a number of great items generously donated by local businesses who support our organization. Please visit the Auction page to review these items and place a bid. Bidding will begin on September 2nd and end at Midnight on September 11th, with winners announced on September 12th. Thank you for your support!
Raffle tickets are available by emailing us on our Contact page or by calling 631-728-2285. Tickets are $5 each and books of 6 are $25. The winning prize is 12 dinners over 12 months at local restaurants. Tickets must be purchased by September 11th and the winner will be announced on September 12th. Good luck and thank you for your support!
