The scourge of COVID-19 created one bright spot in our landscape: the Southampton Community Preservation Fund (CPF) revenue is up 56.4% for the first 6 months of 2020 vs. 2019. Created in June 1998, the fund is mandated to preserve open space and protect our groundwater. The CPF's mission has never been more important as we face ever increasing development and groundwater pollution.
